We have stories to tell, stories that provide wisdom about the journey of life. – Rabbi Saul Rubin
Well…here it is. If you know me, you may know I’ve been talking about starting a blog for quite some time. Having an idea is one thing, but actually turning that idea into an action is an entirely different thing. Reading other people’s blogs is something I love to do, but the thought of having my own was slightly terrifying. I finally made myself stop coming up with excuses and decided to just do it. So, here is my official first post on this journey I’m just beginning.
At the end of 2010, I was inspired by Gail Werner to take one self-portrait each month. I decided to do a self-portrait of me and my husband, Ryan, each month. At the end of the year, I’ll have 12 snapshots of our lives together in 2011…I’m thinking that would make an awesome canvas.
March is a significant time in our lives – it’s when we first met & started dating and got married . This March he just figured out that he was going to have to be in one photo per month…let’s just say he’s less than thrilled :). Here we are in March…seven years after it all began. And yes, we have a blue booth in our kitchen.
Thanks for stopping by. See you soon!
